Going back to school?
So it’s been in the ‘works’ for a while now, with both Megan and I going back and forth on how I could go back to school, which school, what I would study, etc…
But suffice to say a major candidate for the school is Global University. It’s mainly a distance education school affiliated with the A/G. I’m really interested because since I went to two A/G schools, I know my credits will transfer with minimal complications, and their B.A. in Religious Education is right up my ally.
Nothing set in stone yet, but its a great feeling to at least know theres a stone to work with, if you know what I mean.
Please continue to keep me and this situation in your prayers.
I think its awesome that you are thinking about going back to school. Do you have plans for your degree? Just curious as I’m trying to find my career path as an upcoming graduate.
My suggestion would be to take a foreign language for your elective credits(if they offer it). It could be a good thing to have a good foreign language base when doing any type of ministry work, especially with the demographics the way they are. Also, foreign language credits on a college transcript are great when trying to get a job in any field, so if you decide not to go into the ministry, you have some good classes to show your next potential employer.
I have some books that you might find helpful when doing your General Education Classes. If they offer it, you should take Astronomy. I am in Astronomy now and its a pretty cool class and the lab work is mostly computer based with some measuring. I dont know if you’re into that but its fun and its a way to fulfill your science credits.
And FYI… I’m graduating May 16th at 2pm. I would like it if you guys could come… its a pretty big deal.
